From Handler to Educator

Amanda's journey into service dog advocacy began at a young age, rooted in a lifelong love for animals and an innate talent for behavior modification. For years, she honed her skills by training her own family dogs, mastering the patience, consistency, and clear communication required to shape reliable animal behavior.

In 2023, Amanda's life changed when she adopted Clover, a vibrant five-month-old Beagle mix. Recognizing Clover's sharp intuition, Amanda embarked on the challenging, deeply rewarding journey of training her very first medical service dog. Together, they spent thousands of hours perfecting specialized PTSD and anxiety response tasks, forming a seamless working partnership that granted Amanda true independence and safety in public spaces.

In 2026, Amanda and Clover experienced an event that is every service dog handler's absolute worst nightmare. While navigating a public space, an aggressive pet suddenly spotted Clover. The untrained animal broke completely free from its collar and charged, going directly after Clover in an unexpected and aggressive confrontation. This devastating incident forced Clover from full-time public work, restricting her to part-time duties and home-based tasks.

Following the incident, Amanda chose to channel her grief and frustration into immediate action. Having experienced firsthand the devastating impact of fraudulent pets and uneducated businesses, she became fiercely passionate about educating business owners on the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Amanda founded this 100% volunteer project to provide busy entrepreneurs with real-world, actionable compliance tools. When you join a session, you get direct access to her expertise during the concluding live Q&A forum, where she answers your specific, real-world business scenarios.
